How much does a limo cost in Adelaide?
Pricing varies. Class, hours, time of week. All move it. A short executive sedan airport run is the lower end of the spectrum, a 12-hour wedding day with a stretch limousine and a classic car sits near the upper end, and full-day chauffeured wine tours of the Barossa or McLaren Vale sit in the middle of that range across most weekends. We quote per booking after a short call. Flat hourly rates mislead. We do not publish them because the same vehicle on a Wednesday morning airport run is a different rate to the same vehicle on a peak Saturday wedding, and a published rate would over-quote one caller and under-quote another almost every time.
Why don't you publish exact prices online?
Five inputs at minimum. Vehicle class, total hours kerbside-to-kerbside, pickup suburb, the date itself (peak Saturdays are not weekdays), and whether the booking includes a wait window or a multi-stop route all move the number, and the honest quote folds all five into one figure rather than a stripped-down hourly rate that hides three of them. We would rather take the call.
Do I get a written quote?
Yes. Verbal first. Written second. The verbal quote on the call is followed by a written confirmation with the chauffeur named, the vehicle class confirmed, the pickup time and address, and the agreed price. Same day. The confirmation arrives the same day, and the price on that confirmation is the price on the day unless the booking itself changes, in which case the change is priced on the spot rather than added quietly after the run.

Do you charge extra for pickup outside the CBD?
Pickup from any of the 15 named suburbs is included in the standard quote. No metro surcharge. Wine-region day-tour pricing already builds in the drive time, and the figure on the quote stays the figure on the invoice unless the booking itself shifts after confirmation. Do you pick up from Adelaide Airport?

Five classes. How many passengers fit in a stretch limo?
A Chrysler 300 or Lincoln-style stretch fits 8 to 11 depending on the cabin build. A stretch Hummer or SUV-stretch fits 14 to 16. Party buses run 16 to 24. If you are at the boundary, ask on the call before booking.
Do you have classic or vintage cars for weddings?
Yes, in the Bentley, Rolls-Royce, vintage Daimler, and 1960s-70s Jaguar profile. Classics are usually the bride-and-father car or the departure car, not the whole bridal-party shuttle. We confirm weather-readiness for the date because some classics in the rotation prefer dry weather.

Do you take last-minute bookings?
Same-day is possible if a vehicle is available, especially for airport transfers and corporate work. Wedding-day and formal-night bookings should be in 6 to 12 months ahead because peak Saturdays from October through January sell out earliest. Call any hour. Dispatch is 24/7.
How far in advance should I book a wedding?
Six to twelve months ahead for the popular Saturdays. Late September through January is the busiest run. Specific cars (stretch Hummers, particular classics) book out first, with the back half of November and the first three Saturdays of December typically gone by the time the Adelaide Show wraps in early September. Weekday weddings slot easier.
What's your cancellation policy?
We confirm the cancellation terms in writing at the time of booking. The general pattern: a deposit holds the date, the balance is due before the run, and last-minute cancellations carry a non-refund component because the vehicle and the chauffeur have been blocked off the calendar. The exact terms are on your booking confirmation.
Can I change the booking after it's confirmed?
Yes. Availability allowing. A pickup-time shift inside the same day is usually fine. A vehicle-class swap is fine if the new class is free. A date change carries the same constraints as any new booking. Talk to us soon as the plan changes.

Are you licensed and insured?
Limo Hire Adelaide operates as a chauffeured limousine service in South Australia. Public-passenger-vehicle accreditation and insurance are industry requirements for legal operation in SA. We hold them. We do not publish the accreditation number or the insurance certificate on the public site, because both can change before the page is updated and a stale number on a public page is worse than no number. We can show the current paperwork to a corporate procurement team on request.
Do you provide tax invoices?
Yes. Booking invoices are issued for every service. They include the chauffeur name, vehicle class, date and time, pickup and drop suburbs, and the agreed price. Corporate accounts welcome. PO number? Tell us at booking.
Who actually drives the car?
The owner-operator drives most bookings. Where the calendar runs two cars on the same day, a senior chauffeur drives the second car, and the second-car driver is someone the owner-operator has personally trained over years of weekend wedding work rather than a casual subcontracted on the morning of the run. No third-party driver pool.

Do you decorate the cars for weddings?
We can add ribbons in the bridal-party colours and a discreet number plate cover. No paint. No stickers. No modifications. Detail on what is and isn't standard at Wedding cars.
Can the bridal party drink in the limo?
Yes, for over-18s. Bar setup in the stretch and Hummer. We provide ice and standard glassware. BYO is fine, with the standard rule that the chauffeur owns the call on safety: if a passenger is at risk, we pause or end the run.
How long do you wait between ceremony and reception?
The standard pattern is the chauffeur drops at the ceremony, parks safely off-venue, and returns for the bridal-party shuttle to the photo locations and then to the reception. The hourly run from ceremony to reception is the booked window. If you want the car to stay parked for the whole ceremony, that time is part of the booking.
Can you handle a multi-vehicle airport arrival?
Yes. Four-vehicle arrival for a corporate visit is standard work. We coordinate by flight number on the live tracker, allocate one chauffeur per car, and confirm the arrivals-hall meeting points before the wheels touch down. Detail at Airport transfers and Corporate chauffeur.
Do you do conference roadshows?
Yes. A roadshow with multiple stops across an Adelaide week (Convention Centre, Tonsley, the Hills, Stamford Plaza for the closing dinner) is one of the more common corporate bookings. One named chauffeur for the whole visit, one invoice at the end.
Can I bring alcohol on a wine tour?
Yes. We carry wine bought at cellar doors. The standard rule on under-18s applies regardless of state: no alcohol for minors, even with parent consent on a Year 12 formals booking. South Australian law does not allow a parent-signed exception inside a hire vehicle.
